Digitisation

Do you need digitised maps from the Map Department of the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin for your research project? If so, you can send your request through SIS Maps. This service is free of charge and guarantees quick access to digitised items for your research purposes. It is possible to digitise analogue maps from the extensive holdings of the Map Department (approx. 1.2 Mio cartographic representations, from all over the world and in all languages) as well as project-related new acquisitions.

Detailed information regarding this service is available at our FAQ.

Legal notes are available in Richtlinien des Fachinformationsdienstes Kartographie und Geobasisdaten (German only).
